PRP stands for Platelet rich plasma which refers to a sample of blood plasma that has as much as eight times more than the normal amount of platelets. This treatment enhances the body’s natural ability to repair itself and is used to improve healing and shorten recovery time from acute and chronic hair loss problem

PRP is a 3-step medical treatment process.
Step 1 – Our Expert Dermatologist takes the patient’s blood sample from patient arm & processes it in centrifuge machine for about 20-25 minutes. Our blood contains various fluids of different densities.

Step 2 – After approximately 20-25 minutes of processing in centrifuge machine, blood gets spanned so fast which separates blood with PRP fluids which we also call as Growth factors.

Step 3 – Once PRP is processed, doctor gives local anesthesia on the affected Scalp area where hair loss is visible to ensure that no pain is experienced while injecting the PRP fluids into the scalp.

The separated (growth factor) is then taken in a syringe and injected into affected scalp areas which improves blood flow for increased Hair growth.

After few PRP sessions (Minimum 4-6 sessions are recommended) the scalp gets the needed nutrition resulting into healthy scalp which stimulates hair follicle in the area resulting in new hair and improved strength of existing ones.

Since PRP is done using the patient’s own blood hence there is very low probability that anything can go wrong, however there may be some possibilities of a few sides effects

Some people might feel some pain however doctor uses local anesthesia to avoid any pain.
Some tiny amount of bleeding may happen at the site where injections were given however the same will subside in some time.
